For me, a wedding photographer hailing from Portugal, this event wasn't just another industry gathering – it was a culmination of years of relentless dedication, creative exploration, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence.
And as I reflected on my journey, from being nominated as one of the new talents by BODAF in 2022 and 2023 to earning the prestigious title of one of the 30 rising stars in the world by Rangefinder Magazine in 2023, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the path that led me to this moment.

To be nominated as one of the 25 new talents by BODAF in both 2022 and 2023 was a humbling experience – a validation of the hard work, dedication, and creative vision that I poured into my craft. And when Rangefinder Magazine named me one of the 30 rising stars in the world in 2023, it felt like a dream come true!
On the final night of the conference, as the stars twinkled overhead and anticipation crackled in the air, that my journey reached its climax.
I started by winning two of the 4 technical categories - Best wow photo and best narrated wedding story.
When my name was called as the recipient of the Best European Wedding Photographer award, I was overcome with emotion – a Portuguese photographer, standing on stage in Barcelona, recognized as the best in Europe. It was a moment of pure euphoria, a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and unwavering belief in the power of storytelling.
